Our company next year is planning to come out with a bunch of new paintball stuff. Someone had enough brains to stay out of the weapons end.

Ours will be inflatable obstacles. Some of the images looks pretty good. (if they see the light of day) I'll post images when I am legally able to. Think inflatable Tribes fort not pool float.

Yeah we actually have a pretty sweet investment deal. They look at the last day and the first day of a quarter, take the lower price then sell us the stock for 15% off of that.

They had to change it because they were using the lowest and highest of the entire quarter. We were pretty happy with that so it had to change.

  4. I do mostly scenarios now. Hoping to hit the local one next month. Rallying what's left of the team to drag out there.

Been getting "the team" back together for tourney play. Only problem is life is owning the money I had set aside to buy new gear :(.

But shads you played semi-pro!!!! WTF, with who?

And by ESPN2 you mean only in certain parts of the country and only for about 30 mins for a full day's tourney, cause none of the broadcasting companies really want to get behind the sport.

I got curious and checked. Looks like this year they are going with a brick, a cone, a barrel and a wall.

    The wall is 30 x 52 x 57 and is by far the smallest. The barrel is 36" x 72". The cone is 48" x 69"

What they did was IMO a good idea. Every thing has a cloth outer shell that will be small enough to throw in the washer. The shell is what gets staked to the ground. We'll see how much tough play they can handle. The barrel can be staked laying down or standing up. We will see how they do with someone flopping down on one.

  7. Beta testing must be fun for that stuff.... "Okay, everyone gear up and meet out in the back parking lot for a field test!"

What if the cloth was reversable to a wooded camo?

    It isn't, I'm just curious.

I've been playing paintball for the last 4 yrs or so. JInx and I have played in a few tournaments locally. Unfortunetly, being in Western NY, you only get so many months of play.

Have two friends that are doing graphic design for paintball guns and have a website so a shameless plug is appropriate here...http://oddpb.com/. Tell them I sent you if you check it out and like what you see. Been thinking if getting a CDL design on my Autococker actually.

  11. okay, i am sorry, being a non paintball dont want to wear welts kind of person ... this sentence made me giggle! :)

Mig I think I've gotten one welt in all of my time of play, and that was when I got hit from maybe half a foot away.

As far as that sentence is concerned, at least I know I'm not the only one who made that connection.

Oh there's lots of homoerotic sounding terms in paintball. :brow:

I've been guesting for local teams for a while. I don't have the cash flow to fully commit to staying with a team. So I fill in for them when ever I can.

If anyone is in the western PA area you have to play at Smart Parts indoor field! It’s called the All American Paintball Park. Although I'm not a big fan of Smart Parts products or business tactics, it's a great field and prices are nice too. Plus since it's a large company's field that sponsors many Pro teams and international teams too, you sometimes get to meet and if you’re lucky enough play with some of the Pros.

Class Act, wasn't that a 10 man team in the 90's?

It's been a couple of years since I last played. I really miss it.
