Crap with the Ingame ads in BF2142

    I wasnt up on the history b4 I bought this game but I am considering returing it becuase of the fact that EA made me pay them to allow them to advertise.

    Has anyone got this game and seen exactly what when and where it advertises, The way I understand it, its on Billboards when walking thruout, the measure what angle, how long you looked at it and from how far aways.

    If you have seen this tke some screenys and it you have any programmys that record exactly what thsi is doing post it here.

    From what i've heard, it's basically like the ads in Planetside in the homebases .. On Planetside you could block them, on Bf 2142 I do not know if you can.

    No Ads in game yet. You can see the billboards where they are going to be though.

    They look just like regular billboards that you'd see driving down the road. (Well.. ALOT less than you'd see driving down, like, 290 KO :lol: )

    If they do it correctly, i.e. make the content of the billboard appropriate for 2142, you won't even notice that they're there.

    YA were haveing a Blast playing and i really am not worred about what they might do with ads, at this point like arg said its not even a problem and even if they drive a Van around with them it wouldnt bother the game play to me. Its a Shame this is even there but Eq can order pizza's and Planetside had ads so maybe it is what the future holds =(

    Yay I actually drive down 290 toward work Arg, so know the billboards, funny thing is I have never really noticed if there are any on Beltway 8.
