Freespace 2: Beyond The Red Line

    It's not very often you get to see those special cases; mods that have the right team and experience to make something awesome, but this one certainly does.

    Beyond The Red Line is a total-conversion for FS2, set in the universe of the 21st century Battlestar Galactica. The new website launched a couple of weeks ago and, with it, some gorgeous screenshots for the mod came soon after. Here are a few of them:

    Now, a demo is finally available! Although it's standalone there are instructions to make it work right. I suggest if there are any fans of Freespace 2 and BSG, they should check it out:

    This is the same game that, I believe, Marsman did some voice overs for a couple of months ago. I'll be d/ling this to see if I can pick him out of the game.

    I did yes, but they didn't use me or a few of the other voice actors who got picked. So I won't be in this one - least I don't think so. Still a cool project and can't wait to see how it turns out.

    I saw that there was a MP button like in Freespace2, not sure if it's supported yet. Check out the webbie and see.

    Yeah they have multiplayer, its pretty fun, especially if you're like me and are a big fan of the show.

    Mars, I feel like there is still a possibility they might ask you. Because I don't think they've even started the voice acting for the full version yet.
