Planetside: Seriously?

    I must admit, I was quite amped when I read that you guys had a history with the game. To this day, its one of the games I've played which has left a mark on me and I just can't seem to let it die, although MANY others have. So, I'm thinking about picking it back up and wanted to ask the DragonWolves out there that still play, what server do you play on and are you organized in any way? Or perhaps just solo'ers? Again, its a pleasure to be amongst such a fine group of players, and I see this as one way I might be able to form some extra bonds. Sorry if this is the wrong forum for this.

    We have a great history with PlanetSide, as many here will attest. The Dragon Wolves carry many "firsts" within the game on our war banner.

    I drop in now and then, we played on the Emerald server TR mainly. I am unsure if anyone is still active at all..

    Planetside brought me to this place I call home today. And for that I'll be forever grateful to Sony.

    Like I said in-game today; Planetside has lots of great memories associated with it. Our Ops nights were just awesome. It was great seeing 30 Dragonwolves united to a common goal. I would get such a rush seeing 2 Galaxies full of Dragonwolves dropping onto a hotly contested tower. The thrill of being a part of our Thunder Run nights, where 15 Prowlers escorting 2 Skyguards along with a Lodestar for repairs/rearming was just awe inspiring.

    We've lost some good Dragonwolves since then that, to me, really made the game fun. I just can't get back into the game anymore. I'll never forget Planetside.

    Sometimes I go over to our video vault and look at the Planetside in-game videos we did. I still get chills down my spine. You can view the files here. Be warned though, the videos of our Rally's are NOT for the faint hearted. (wiki wiki!)

    This clan and PS Beta are some of the greatest moments in my MMO experience.

    Anyone remember when the old latice system was in, we neutral droped that base on amerish, and then the 30 of us held it down from a VS Red Alert sized force untill the NTU silo drained from 100 back to 0!?

    well, while i have indeed heard Hamma make remarks with such words, i was in fact quoting Teal'c (Stargate reference) . As such, I will refer any royalty inquiries to said person. Best of luck collecting Hamma ;)

    Additionally, this reminds me yet again that i've been off TS for quite a while and need to find a game to play...preferably something free (since we're not all in Hamma's position)- where i get to shoot at people, humanoids in general, and/or other creatures with a variety of sexy guns

    I never played planetside, but I've heard from Marsman that it's great fun. Wish I didn't miss out on the fun times. :D
