    Interesting, this does not appear to be tied to in game.

    Looks like people have to login first before they can be added.

    wow, the web browser implementation for the server browser is HORRIBLE.

    Not to mention the battlelog, and Origin have separate friends lists.

    I thought there wasn't going to be a traditional server browser in the game? All the fanboyz were howling about that months ago..

    There is not a traditional server browser, it's all web based. The friends lists being separated is pretty dumb. The "import from origin" doesn't seem to work. It tells me that I'm already friends with everyone, but yet I'm not. Had to reissue requests.

    This is really jacked up,
    • You cant run the game w/o opening the web browser
    • You cannot set server options when you are dead
    • Friends lists are separate.
    • I cannot bind ANY of my mouse keys besides left/right click.
    • Requiring a web browser to launch the game/join servers is horrible implementation.

    I hate to be a prick but thanks to you "early access" guys and the imminent chorus of "die EA die" that's probably about to errupt on the DICE forums, hopefully some of this will be fixed by the time the rest of us peons get to try the game :p

    That simply is not an excuse, basic UI should be functional in open beta. UI should literally be the first thing that works.

    They already had an extensive ALPHA for this game where basics should have been worked out.

    No excuse there; just getting a bit of a laugh that the ones EA bestows the "privilege" of being first, just get slapped with the rotting trout corpse that is their vaunted matchmaking service :p

    I've heard you have to exit the game to switch servers as well, so the idea that this might end up a clown car circus act was never really that far away.

    BC2 was pretty bad in beta as well too, so I get the feeling browsers and interfaces are something they don't put much thought into.

    It is a rotting fish right now. You can't edit options unless you are alive in an actual server. So, here is the process thus far:

    1) Log into Origin.
    2) Click to play the game.
    3) Open browser to find a server.
    4) Find a server to join, another browser opens letting you know you are joining.
    5) You have to hit alt/enter to go to full screen mode once you are in the server lobby.
    6) You must join (deploy) before editing options.
    7) You join and start editing options.
    8) Someone kills you because you are standing there in options mode.
    9) The options mode closes, because you have to be alive to edit the options. You have just lost all your changes.
    10) You deploy again, and find someplace to hide to edit the options.
    11) You avoid being killed only to find out the edit options doesn't allow you to bind your mouse buttons. Someone finds you, kills you and you lose what edits you had done.
    12) You go play Minecraft.

    Is there no keybind config file somewhere you can manually edit?

    Oh, and on the bright side, think of all the suckers you can knife while they're immobilized changing their settings once you get yours figured out Mani :lol:

    I dont see any point to canceling the pre-order at all. I had a look around for a manual file to edit with no luck.

    They'll fix the problems eventually, i rather them be more focused on the actual gameplay then simple ui fixes / server browsers. Still a bit from release.
