Hi peeps,

I am formally submitting my application for CDL membership. You may have seen me lurk around before as I have been around members of CDL since the old Tribes days and work with Hamma on PlanetSide Universe as the site programmer for the last 9 years.

I started gaming with the Atari 2600 and been a gamer since. I am a social gamer, I prefer to play with the usual suspects than to play alone.

When I’m not playing games or programming, I enjoy spending time with my wife and giving death threats to SilverTalon.

I started The Hounds of Zeus in 1999 as a Starsiege: Tribes clan and met some other great Tribes clans during that time and even modeled our CoC after CDL. When PlanetSide came out a bunch of Tribes clans got together to form the Allied Tribal Forces in 2002.

Activity in THZ and ATF seemed to directly relate to how much Stang and I played, so if we took a break, the whole guild did. While flattering as that may be, it has become too much work trying to keep the activity flowing, every recovery from every lull has become less and less.

I would like to join CDL because I have known many of it’s members for over 10 years. I have always admired the camaraderie here, CDL has the same ideals and respectable players that have been a part of THZ and ATF so I feel it would be a great match. I like the leadership and the constant activity that CDL can provide as well.

As far as what I can bring to CDL, well, I can bring loyalty, a gun to the fight, some humor, some cheetos and some web development.
