  1. This gives me plenty of time to finish school before dog-fighting comes out now!

  2. Bummer I am out that whole weekend for a wedding lol.

  3. bah, weekend of one of my biggest shows of the year, but damn glad it is coming out

  4. Might be perfect timing for me. I work that weekend but I'm off the following Mon/Tue/Wed. Maybe I'll be called up to multiplayer by then.

  5. You working Wizard World?

  6. Traceroute

    Traceroute DragonWolf

hmmm. 10 more days in theory.. I can deal with that I think. (oh man i am so freaking excited)

  7. no, but i think i can get in for free this year, know some people......

  8. It is typical that the first day of Alpha is the only day you'll get to fly a Vanduul Scythe; I won't have a new system able to play until after E3.

  9. i wish hynch, but alas, no scythe will be available afaik

  10. But we do get to blow up some Vanduul scum!

  11. Here's a shot with all 3 ships in the first version:

  12. Those drills above the planet always remind me of the Reapers... just far less of them.

  13. Tip for tomorrow:
The launcher will automatically check every 15 minutes for an update, so if you leave it open, it should download it as soon as it is available. You can check to see that your automatic updates is on by checking the Settings under Advanced Settings.

HIGHLY recommend you all do this before going to bed tonight. When you get home from work your could very well be playing it!

  16. Chances are that it will be later in the day. Here's the excerpt from the schedule in the weekly report a couple of weeks ago:
    • May 29th: This morning, the web team will spin up additional authentication and web servers in the in anticipation of high traffic during the release. The engineering team will begin “warming” caches on cloud servers around the world, making sure the release candidate game is ready and waiting for users. By the end of the day, we will update the website making the game available, and the first public release of Arena Commander (which we’re calling v0.8) will be live to the world for testing!
