A couple of games I got wind of

    So there's a couple of games that have caught my eye recently;
    • Guns of Icarus Online

      • The game is about airship combat. You have a crew of 4 that battle another crew for supremacy in the steampunk powered skies. You have your choice of three different classes;
        • Pilot
        • Gunner
        • Engineer
      • To me this would be a perfect primer for the multi-crewed ships in Star Citizen. It really takes great communication during these battles to be successful. Which again, will be perfect for team coordination in Star Citizen.
      • If there is interest I'll pick up the 4 pack and send out the three others to people who are interested.
    • ARK: Survival Evolved

      • Survival game that is getting pretty wide acclaim. Basically it's like The Stomping Land. With really big guns.
      • It's $30. So while it's not cheap it may be fun to start up another survivalist Dinosaur-type gameplay.
      • Did I mention Dinosaurs?

    Guns of Icarus is ehhh...but I really do like Ark. I have survivors on a few different servers....it's my game of choice. As for being like The Stomping Land.....I would say it's more like Rust with dinosaurs. And the game is updated all the time. Fixes and new content at least once a week here lately.

    I picked up a four pack for Guns of Icarus. I tried the tutorial out and liked what I saw.

    I probably won't pick up ARK until next month. Especially if we can get a few more people gaming together again.

    did some tooling around in Ark last night and then joined Faith for a bit. Its quite fun(Fighting and taming dino's...why wouldn't that be fun). Would benefit from more people (HINT HINT) :D

    i just bought ark, but i still have no idea what im doing in the game haha. i havent gotten a chance to check out guns of icarus though

    I will be on tonight hopefully to play a bit around 8-9pmish. Joiined a server with Faith and for the life of me cannot remember what its called....

    Faithstrike - could you provide that info? :D

    ghostpeppergaming or ghost pepper gaming...also there was an update that forced a 2 day roll back....so you will have to recreate your survivor firez.

    Since I'm back from holiday I'll probably be spending more time working on SC than playing it :)

    That said, ARK is much more appealing to me than Rust was, and more beautiful than any terra-firma MMO I've seen in a while.
