My - it sure is...brisk~!

yep, its cold here too.. some of our lakes are freezing over already. the mountians have had tons and tons of snow, not much down here though in the foot hills... but the wind has been blowing something fierce and the wind chill is below 0 yeah!! now if i could only have some snow to go with the weather, i dont mind the cold. as long as there is snow on the ground!

Hubby said this morning there is a chance for snow on Wednesday! I'm so excited! I haven't seen snow in over four years!! YEAH!!!!!

*edited* Ok, so it got the lower 60s today...snow tomorrow my butt! I'll just be over here in the corner crying *sniff

 

It gets cold enough here that if you take a cup of blowing water and throw it in to the air the water turns to snow before it hits the ground. No kidding.

Dude, you live north of me - time to move south! It's only going to get colder. But don't despair....

Last year, I bought a snow blower - my first ever, including childhood. From a friend who's family has used it in NH for years. Works great I am told. We get a blizzard, I start it up... well I try to start it up. Well I try a lot of things. Never starts. We get hammered during the winter. I'm up cleaning off the roof due to ice dams, shoveling the driveway from under multiple feet of snow etc.

This year? I got it tuned up. It works.

We're not gonna get much snow... you watch.

yeah its going to only be -5 tonight but tomorrow it should be a blustery brisk -10 yeah for snow

oh and did i mention its snowing today? whoot!

woke up to a balmy 29 degrees, and right now at 1pm its 12 degrees and falling whooot!!!

*busts out the warm long wool coat and the hats and mittens!*

 

Well I wish I could share how cold it is here, but fear that If dare say you all will banish me as we are in a Santa Ana ( Dry heatwave).

 

I always wanted to try blowing bubbles into the air. I hear in places where it's really cold the bubbles freeze before the hit the ground. I have to see that!!!

You can do that here too. It takes quite a few bubbles to get one to do that. Most of the the time they pop before it freezes.

 

really cold here, -10.3 as of right now (7:21 pm) and thats not counting wind chill ! you should see at night. somthing woke me up this morning at 3:30 again (looks angrilly down at Chewy), and the wind almost toulk me off my feet, i was out there for like 5 seconds, came back in and my feet and hands were frozen for a couple minutes and my teeth were still chattering. ooo and LOTS OF SNOW !!!!
