Client Fixes for Age of Conan

    Been having some problems running AoC lately, but found a couple of things that have helped me a bit. If you're still playing AoC, give these a shot if you're having multiple problems;

    I actually got about 30 minutes of play time last night before the game would just quit loading content when zoning. Was almost really enjoyable. I hope they put out the better client on Saturday also if there is really one.

    Ive still heard alot of mixed things about the game so I might mess around with it untill im able to play warhammer hehe.

    Yeah Daleon. I got a good 30 minutes of playtime yesterday in before the game crashed on me. Not bad considering I was crashing, on average, about 3 times every 5 minutes. The shader.cache files have to be deleted everytime I start the client up. Before I start the game I just go to the folder and see if any are there. Then I just delete them. Also, I was running in windowed mode at 1680x1050. I may try just to run it out of windowed mode and see if that helps a bit.

    I am having a problem updating my old Nvidia 5200. When I download updated drivers, the exe starts unpacking and stops when it is time to start updating. I get the message that another windows update is occuring and to continue when this is done. For the life of me, I can't figure out what is causing this message, and I can't run with the old driver. Any suggestions?

    Thats odd.. usually win update would not run al the time

    Try to go to www.windowsupdate.com run through all the latest updates till the end then reboot then try the drivers

    Looks like new patches really help. Had a ton fewer bugs and ran 100 times better tonight.

    Also looks like you just have to be level 2 to get the push to level 20 so made a few more characters.
