BF3 Beta

    I might bail on the beta for a bit. It is real bad and I don't want to get mad at the game like I did BFBC2 in the beginning.

    The cheaters have really hit the game hard too. Not sure if they are tolerating some of them for now or not, so that kind of steals the fun. That will get better when we get the released game and our own server.

    I don't bother with betas anymore - I will let others deal with those frustrations.

    Not that I am not thankful for the lot of you that are willing to wade through the beta process... I just don't feel the compulsion these days. Chalk it up to the aging process.

    Cheating? Lame! But they cheat their own selfs of getting real fulfillment.

    cheating already? lol. i havent even been able to download that game. And getting thru to customer service is next to impossible. Im quite mad at EA right now. Almost as mad as Sentrosi lol. This whole ORIGIN thing is really sucking and they have Implemented it quite poorly in my opinion. And options for Contacting Customer Support SUCK!

    good luck trying to get into a server though. they're all full. I got into one but kept falling through the world. Then again I had that problem on metro as well today.

    This battlelog system could prove useful if they build in checks for insane K/D ratios.

    Edit: although something seems off - the numbers are almost all even and the time used for the weapons is really low.. :confused: seems like the second might be bugged out.

    Video talking about guys running around as snipers playing assault, which does seem a bit OP..

    Wait until the end when he shows you how guys are hiding UNDER ground and shooting people where they can't see you.. So if you ever had a feeling that guys can shoot you but there's no way they should have been able to even see you, that may be how they're doing it..

    EA really failed on releasing a 3 month old beta just so they could match up the versions for Console/PC. What a dumb marketing move.

    10. Why is the hit detection seemingly different from Battlefield: Bad Company 2?
    The netcode is one of the many things that we are testing as part of the Open Beta and is not necessarily reflective of the final retail game. The DICE team appreciates and has heard the feedback you’ve provided and is further optimizing online play.

    Wasn't sure they'd be able to change something so fundamental about the gameplay but if they make it right (or more right than it is now) the game could end up being as great as it should be.

    btw, where do you see the part about Caspian border being made available?

    4. Can we have ability to change settings/options before deployment into match on PC?

    The ability to modify your settings via the deploy screen has been added into the retail game.
