I'm in a position to pledge

    Howdy,

    So I"m in a position to be able to pledge to RSI for Star Citizen.

    Would anyone be able to offer advice as to the best package?

    I'm mostly considering exploration, though might be open to just about anything (team player here), so I'm also considering picking up a separate ship while they are available.

    Any feedback is welcome!

    I'm sure more knowledgeable members will chime in but I would consider the Aurora LN package ($45) as your basic starter ship. It's a good all around ship that can do all tasks. After that, pick your preferred ship for whatever role tickles your fancy. Me... I have my Aurora LN, the 325A fighter, the Hornet Ghost for Recon/Stealth and a Freelancer for cargo duties.

    I didn't get back to this until after the sle was over, went ahead and grabbed the squadron 42 pre-order (with Aurora MR, which I may upgrade to LN later). Thanks for the feedback Granite!

    Remember that all the ships that are being sold will be available within the game. Also if you're a subscriber (Centurion or Imperator levels) you get some REC each month you can use this REC to "rent" out the flyable ships.

    I agree you made the right choice, The Aurora is a solid ship and you will get star citizen for less than the cost of a new game!
