SWTOR: Knights of the Eternal Throne Expansion

With the upcoming release of SWTOR's newest expansion on December 2nd, Lunar and I were both wondering if there is any interest in getting back into SWTOR from you. We are hoping we get a good crew (10-15) people who are interested in running content within the new expansion. Even if you did not play with us back in the day, we would be very happy in leveling you up and playing with us.

Note that right now we are concentrating on the Imperial side of the storyline (though they are no real differences in the Imp/Pub storylines).

Lunar and I discussed moving our operations from Jung-Ma to Harbinger. Jung-Ma has hardly anyone on it which means it's absolutely stagnant. So we are going to be moving our characters over to Harbinger simply because it's the most populated of the active servers now. Now transferring a guild over to another server is a pain in the ass. So to make the transition as smooth as possible I am going to liquidate whatever is in the guild bank and transfer it to my character, then move over to Harbinger, set up the guild bank and go from there. I'll be doing this tonight.

Cliff Notes: Moving our guild from Jung-Ma to Harbinger. Info on guild name will be posted once we get it set up.

Update #1 (December 8, 2016):
Guild Bank
Right now we have two bank slots open; gear and enhancements. Lunar and I have been putting items within there that we don't personally use. All I ask is that the item that you do take from there is used by you and not taken and sold on the auction house. If there are any items not being used by players within one week I will take and either sell on the Auction House or vendor and put the cash straight into the guild bank. I won't expand the guild bank unless there is a need to do so. Each successive slot costs 500k more than the previous slot.

Progress toward End-game Content
Filling out the initial raid roles within the group. Right now we have the following verbally committed to the raid group along with their roles;

  • Lunar (Main Tank)
  • Damonke (Alt Tank)
• Healing
  • Blackice (Main Healer)
  • Empty (Alt Healer)
• DPS
  • Sentrosi (Ranged DPS)
  • Beachman (Ranged DPS)
  • Empty (Ranged/Melee DPS)
  • Empty (Ranged/Melee DPS)

As you can see, we are short a healer as well as a couple of DPSers. This isn't to say that we won't field whoever wants to raid with us, but there will be minimum gear levels you will need to reach. If gearing is an issue, check with the guild bank or let Lunar or myself know you want to run planetary missions together with either of us. Always willing to help out a fellow Dragonwolf.

Uprisings
This next week will begin our initial foray into Uprisings. Uprisings are a four-member group quests designed to help gear yourself toward end-game raiding. The first group going in will be; Lunar, Blackice, Beachman, Sentrosi

We hope to get familiar enough with these that we can help others progress toward the gear they need for the end-game goal.

 

As of last night I received commitments from the following Dragonwolves;

• Lunar - Tank
• Blackice - Healz
• Beachman - DPS Sniper
• Sentrosi - DPS Sorcerer

The goal is to plow through the expansion until we all hit max level. If one is lagging behind, we build them up until they are 70. Once 70 we can then begin to run Uprisings, the new name for Flashpoints, starting with story mode and then working toward hard mode. This is similar to how we handled end-game raiding. This is our immediate goal and we're looking at doing this by mid-December.

Long-term goal is to build out the team using assets from either interested Dragonwolves or people we have worked with on Harbinger. Once we get a solid 10-20 people logging in and playing, we will begin assessing the end-game content. We will know each players strengths and weaknesses while running Uprisings and address them accordingly. Subscribers get a head start. As of yesterday we get access to the content. F2P players get access starting Dec 2nd. And we are looking for anyone interested. We can power level anyone who is willing to commit to this.

Please understand that when I say commitment I don't mean "OMG YOU MUST BE PLAYING 24/7!" That has never been the case with me. Commitment to me means that you're willing to play with us one night a week when running end-game content. Obviously you can play whenever you want to level up alts and that sort of thing. But I would love to see you raid/run Uprisings one night a week once you clear level 70.

Lunar can edit this but going forward I would like to see the following empty slots filled;

Tank: Lunar
Off-Tank:
Healing: Blackice
Off-Healing:
Ranged DPS: Beachman
Ranged DPS: Sentrosi
Melee DPS:
Melee DPS:

If we can get those empty slots filled, we could have two teams running Uprisings at the same time. We can mix the ranged DPS and melee DPS between teams. This would provide us with the best advantage in getting to the end-game raids quicker.

I haven't been this excited in a long time. I am looking forward to making more memories similar to "Exit Stage Left Beach!" and "He's dead already?" as well as "Pillar...Pillar...PILLAR!!!!"

 

He was our most reliable "to be disconnected" tank.

 

Last night we were able to create the Imperial guild Dragonwolves with Beachman, Blackice, Lunar and myself starting it up. All four of us have invite privileges to the guild. So if you do bring someone over, hop on Discord to see if we are on. We will get you invited into the guild then. We will probably be running both Jedi and Sith sides here, so if you either have interest in playing the Jedi side, or have pre-existing characters you'd like to play with us, transfer them over. We can start up a Jedi side if there is enough interest. But for now our focus is on the Imperial side.

We are hoping to begin doing the Uprisings, starting with Story Mode, by mid-December. We have the first four all lined up for that; Lunar, Blackice, Beachman and myself. Ideally we would like to have a second team able to run the Uprisings content by then as well. Whether that team is made from within or without, I would like to be going back to raiding the end-game content by January. This gives both teams time to play together, gear up and mold into a cohesive unit.

Lunar and I can powerlevel whoever needs it. You don't have to go through the story missions. Just stick with us and we can get anyone leveled up in no time. You can go back and do your story missions later if you'd like.

 

Just wanted to chime in here and welcome a few new Dragonwolves to the fray:
Protius and Mom have applied to be a part of the SWTOR guild. Protius is in the Navy stationed in Italy (Boy, we're going to have some stories to swap!) and Mom is a journalist in Arizona. They're going through the acceptance protocol and will be getting guild invites soon.
Lionheart1118 is a factory worker supporting his family through hard work and sweat. He's already a full Dragonwolf. We just need to get an invite put into him in game.
These three came to us through the guild recruitment post I made a few weeks ago. If you see them on the forums welcome them with open arms.
