This sniping BS has to stop..

It looks like he (she) has struck again...... makes me sick......

 

This is the purest form of terrorism. It is virtually impossible to stop and nearly impossible to prevent. Its cheap for the terrorist, as you get the most effect for the amount of time and money spent with the least amount of effort.

Sick? Yes.

Prevention? Not much.

Solution? Citizen awareness and a keen sense of your surroundings at all times. DC has now become a battlefield. Treat it as such, and there is a chance you will catch him/them.


The one thing not to do is panic. That is the one thing the terrorist feeds on. Hard to not panic, but we must remain focused.

 

darn, last night was a shopping center 5 to 6 blocks away from my home. and again I could nothear any gunshot.

 

22 isnt very loud, not to mention if he's using a silencer of some sort.

 

Doubt he is using a silencer, to much chance it will effect the shot. If he is really good he would be sitting from a long way away and you would not hear the shot till after the body hits the ground. He will make a mistake this week, he is getting to bold. The last one was done near a very busy section.

This guy wants to get caught (concentrating in one area. What if he had decided to do this across the country, how long would it take to link them to him?

A 22 round isn't going fly that far. Not only that but a 22 wouldn't kill most people. A 30 30 would do the job pretty well though. Being a high powered rifle it would have no problem killing a human. Hell he could kill a cop with a bullet proof vest on with a 30 30. I'm sure if he hot loaded he could even get 20+ extra yards out of it before the bullet started dropping.

That's one thing I miss about VA. Hunting deer was a lot of fun at times.

 

if they trained 25 people to do this:


1) the ones in all the area where the populace is armed will get taken out. 4 people saw him last night, if one had a gun he would be dead right now.(and theres now predator drones over washington, I do not know if they are armed or not, probably not.)

2)internment camps! That is, if the government gets to the muslim community before the angry mobs do. Ah well they pulled it off in ww2, no reason to doubt them now.

 

What I was saying, this could very well be the next Terrorist tactic. Train 25 people (number pulled from my butt) send them to differant states with real equipment (a real sniper rifle, something capable of shooting from a long ways away 350 yards or so) Then we would have real trouble.

Just a scary thought.

I don't think Terrorists would do that. Terrorists like to make big scenes with big targets. Sniping a few people at a time isn't going to help them very much. They want to know they inflicted mass casulties and made you suffer. Sniping a few people at a time will only harden Americans in the long run.

Terrorisum works for two affects. A) Terror B) moral of the Terrorists.

Example: "Osama we killed two Americans today!" "You fucking idiot! They bomb us from afar, chase us with those beasts of death (planes), kill handfuls of us a day, and all you did was kill two of them!"

In a time such as this terrorists need something to boost their moral. Yeah I'm sure a few Americans would be something but after watching all your friend become balls of fire, being partially defened by the blast, and woundering if you are going to live to see tommorrow... do you really feel like two Americans were worth it?

 

Don't forget about the fact the some groups out there are willing to blame video games for this because of the card they found saying "I am God". That just shows you the lack of understanding and the willingness to blame something that they don't understand from these groups.

For those of you how want gun control I suggest you look at the second amendment. The federal term of militia is any adult male over the age of 16 who owns a gun.

 

although there is a dependent clause at the front of the second amendment(much like this sentence...), it says that "The rights of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed".

how does anyone interpret that to mean that the state militia can have guns? Does my dependent clause mean that dependent clauses can have guns? These people need to go back to english class to learn about dependent and independent clauses.
