  3. :ditto:

hated the books too, couldnt get through the first book (lord knows I tryed tho.)

  4. Hamma, your not a fan of anything I've decided. :)

Who can I kill to get my ticket..........

Ill be heading there as soon as work allows. This is poised to be the trilogy of all time for a long time in the making. They are great movies hamma, you should really watch the next two.

  5. I went and saw it 2 days ago. It was brilliantly done. A great masterpiece to finish the best triolgy converted to movies from books.

  6. Again, agreed Wild. Jackson did an outstanding job with the amount of material he had on hand to work with. I thought the Battle of the Pelennor Fields and the Battle at the Black Gate were just stellar (the eagles kicked butt).

  7. Manitou

    Manitou Old War Horse DragonWolf

I laughed, I cried, I cheered... best movie I have ever seen, and a beautiful end to the trilogy as recreated wonderfully by Jackson.

  8. Schrike and I are going in about an hour. I can't wait! I'm such a Tolkien nerd that I actually took a LOTR class in college.

Actually, one of my friends and I played a game in college where we would sit with the books and read a quote from one. The other person would then have to say who said it, what was happening and which book. The really sad thing is that we were good at it!
