This game is awesome, the one mode that sticks out the most is Onslaught, this mode is similar to how planetside works, except at a much smaller scale. Basically there are 2 main bases that have their own generator and both teams are to try to destroy the other team's generator, however one cannot just fly over to the enemy base and kill the gen, there are nodes all over the map which are connected to each other. In order to kill the enemy base you must take over a node connected to the enemy base, again you cannot just run over to a node that is connected to the enemy base and take it. To take over a node it has to be linked to one your team already controls. Nodes have special abilities that spawn certain vehicles, or may give more weapons at the weapons stand. You can spawn at any points that you own. The vehicles are pretty cool, my favorite one that I have used so far is called the scorpion, its normal fire is this green horizontal line of energy that does a nice amount of damage, and then its secondary fire these two long blades come out of its sides and any person on foot that gets hit by them is just 0wned.

I assume by buzz you mean hype? I haven't seen that much until the demo came out, I've seen more stuff on T:V than this game.

 

I thought you would like it , The game does have a built in voice system, in fact I was just in a game where 2 people were using it and the quality of the sound is the same as TS (unlike Tribes 2...). One thing I noticed is that in Onslaught if you type to your team it will give your location, which I think is quite helpful.

 

I love going in that air ship and shooting the other enemy air ship down, and then it says "Top Gun" and I say "yesss I'm not goose!" and then I get shot down by 3 guys on the ground with rocket launchers
