    I see many have looked at this. Hopefully they have watched the whole video.

    I hope they also either;

    Knew the difference, or learned something.

    I have mentioned the media is biased. This isn't proof or anything, but gives you something to think about when the media mentions "assault weapons".

    Please, think about it.

  2. I've noticed that a lot of people who are ignorant to anything involving firearms like to act like they know everything about guns.. which i guess a lot of people in this country do that about other things as well.. but whenever the ignorant preach...that's never a good thing.

  3. That was a sweet little video. I some wish the folks on capital hill would look at it. With HR1022 going through committee right now. But, wait, looking at the video, you could see that congressman have been told about the different types of firearms, and they just dont get it.

    If it looks "nasty" it must be bad. I recently purchased a "nasty" firearm, before they say I cant have one.

    Next, I'll have to get a "nasty" SUV before they say I use to much carbon and want to ban those.

    Again, thanks for the PSA on this video.

    The sad thing is, like about HR1022 (the updated "Assault Weapons Ban"), is that most people only get the "Spin" version. "HR1022 is for the children", "assault weapons are the criminals choice". (Neither is true, mind you).

    Did you know that, in HR1022, there is a part that says the Attorney General has the right to ADD to the list of these so called "assault weapons" whenever the AG see's fit?

    McCarthy and her clan were smart to add that. It leaves the ban open-ended. If something is forgotten, or suddenly "seems" to be assault-like, it is simply added...nothing to pass through.

    What do you want to bet, if this law passes, over time ALL firearms will become "assault weapons"?

    None of these "gun bans" are about anything but control of "the people". Once the guns are gone, the major hurdle of "control" is gone. Hard to control someone who can shoot back.

    And once the guns are gone from law-abiding citizens, then we will be like England, Australia, and the others that have completely banned guns.

  5. Well, that's one of the reasons I purchased my firearm now. That proposed law would give the AG great power to "ban" any firearm. Absolutly NO check and balance there. And like the video, what looks "nasty" to one person, could be perfectly ok with another.

    I was talking to an off duty officer the other day at the gun shop, and although like most folks, he doesn't think this bill will pass, however, he is in the market for "one more" black rifle. (Note: He did say his wife gave him approval. Now that is a high law than any congressional law :rolleyes: ), Just on the off chance it does make it.

    Just like the military funding bill, I'm sure we can see this bill change and get a bunch of pork in it to get the votes. So, it's anyones guess as to what it might look like in the end.
