A Trip to Space...

    Today, well actually about 20mins ago...My school Rockland District Highschool in Rockland, Maine USA had the very exciting chance to talk with the people in the International Space Station. We had 18mins for questions and answers and it was very interesting and I'm glad i have gotten this chance to do such a thing. But thats all so ttyl

    how cool is that??? have you guys looked into other space things as well. i know that my husbands company, lockheed martin, sponsors space day programs at school and sends things into space and that sort of thing! there are so many wonderful opportunities out there if you know where to look!!
    Grats on getting to do something so awsome. so what kinds of questions did you guys ask them?

    We really don't..but it was a teacher that wanted to do it really. I don't think we'd be able to afford any programs lol We are a very poor school, we only had 400 students lol but yea, it was interesting. It was sponsered by all local ham radio people..We asked questions like weight exchange, fitness, family easy stuff..a couple of times we lost connection and the questions weren't really answered.

    LoL its a free program!! there are tons of free programs out there for the truely intrested! all it requires is the time to look for them and apply :)
