    Officer
So I'm at work watching CNN (Because that's what you do in a Command Center; monitor the world events and such) and he's got an hour long special "Showdown: Iran". So I'm watching and they're starting to talk about military options against Iran when I see a retired Air Force General start talking about military options that he cannot 'confirm or deny'. I then notice that he's wearing his cammies.

Now I may have been out of the military for over 10 years now, but I know, for a fact, that Mani isn't walking around in his uniform. What gives this General the right to wear that uniform when he is RETIRED?

can you tell it's a slow night at work?

  2. You are absolutely correct Sentrosi...I have never seen a prior serviceman wear thier uniform unless a very select specific reason...I have never worn mine since I have been out for 15 Years now...

That is indeed odd. Especially taking on the "talking head" role. Like WinterKnight said, there are only special occasions we are allowed to wear the uniform after retirement/separation.
