The next book is almost here :) They even have a count down clock! :) What will happen to Harry Potter Next ? :)

  2. Don't know, but I just finished #5 again just recently just to get myself up to speed. Yes, I am an adult and I read Potty books. Join the group.

Actually, my nephew got me started as I reluctantly took his copy of the Sorcerer's Stone. Now, I can't seem to help myself. Got all the darn movies, too. Can someone please explain this madness?!?

  3. Can't help ya there. I'm totally addicted. I pre-ordered the Half-Blood Prince 2 months ago! Pathet-a-sad!

  4. Secilia and I will be reading it intently in two weeks! we only have one copy pre-ordered, but she reads like a fiend, so she'll have it done the same day.

My wife, my 2 year old son and myself will be standing at the B&N at midnight waiting for our 2 pre-ordered copies.

Last one we realized that it bothered us to share one copy, so we have to buy two (grin).

    Geeks all

  6. I will be doing the same....it is a great book! all of them

  7. I've had a copy pre-ordered for my daughter and me for months. We are both also re-reading the first five to get back up to speed. We have also found a series called "The Magickers" by Emily Drake which has been very entertaining and Potter-esque, for those that may be interested in more reading material while waiting!

    :)

My daughter, Brooke, started reading this series when she was 4 years old. (yes, we caught her reading on her own at 18 months old...she's a reader-she used to sleep with a little board book when she was a baby) She and I have always loved reading Harry Potter together and we can't wait to get our hands on the next book in the series.

  10. Hmm... I'm surprised no one has reposted in this thread. Guess they're too busy trying to pull their noses out of the bindings. :)

  11. I finished it on Sunday afternoon... Less than 12 hours for the whole thing...

I'm guessing people are still reeling from the ending.

  12. shush you!!!! i have not read it yet!!!! i have not bought it yet! hush hush hush!!!
