News: Alpha Release Builds

With so many Star Citizen release-builds expected to come out before the year's end, I thought it was time a thread for the Live Server. Please make no replies to this thread, as it will be used solely for posts on builds.


Alpha 2.5

26th August 2016 saw the release of Alpha 2.5, which includes:

• "GrimHEX Outlaw Base" - new spawn location for any players with a Criminal Rating
• "Green Imperial Housing Exchange" - abandoned bases to explore scattered across Port Olisar space (more to follow as the PU expands)
• Updates to the Landing System
• Reliant Kore "Flight Ready" Sale (see this thread - ends 29th Aug 2016)
• Argo Astronautics MPUV Concept Sale (see this thread - ends 5th Sept 2016)
• Item System 2.0
• New Weapon - Behring M7A Laser Cannon (Class-5)

FOR THE FIRST 1500 ORDERS of Squadron 42 Hoodies, a pair or dog tags will also be supplied, based on one of the five main characters:

• CAPT Rachel Maclaren
• LCDR Nayara Fell
• LT Randell Graves
• ADM Ernest Bishop

Dog tags will be chosen randomly, so make it fast if you want one of these collector's items!
