Any of you wankers a "Mr. Fix It"?

    I am totally lacking in all knowledge when it comes to fixing up stuff around the house. And as I just bought a house, I need to learn. So is there anyone here that is willing to help if I have questions?

    My first challenge:

    In my new Den/Computer Room I have only two wall outlets. Each of them has three double prong outlets. Now this is obviously a huge concern since all my damn computer stuff needs a three prong grounded outlet. So I want to change them. I've looked stuff up on the internet but I'm a bit nervous about setting up grounded outlets wrong. But I really don't want to pay an electrician a couple hundred dollars to come look at it :)

    Anywho, anyone here I can bounce questions/concern off of that will point me in the right direction?

    Well it worked out ok. I was worried that the boxes wouldn't be grounded because the house is old, but they are. Changed my first outlet last night as a test and it all worked out. Have about 8 more to do.

    Yeah, I can use my computers.
