Anyone Living in or near Starke FL. (gainseville)??

    I'm Going to be moving down there for at least 4 months for Flight school Pretty Soon just trying to get some ideas on what side of town is better or worse for Apartment renting. I'm not a complete Snob but i dont wanna worry about getting mugged every night either. School is on Starke Florida about 20 or so miles from Gainesville.

    Any Info anyone can give would be appreciated.

    Im about 4 hours south of you, but i know Gains is a BIG BIG party place. The city is built around the school and once you go there you'll see that the average age is around 24. My best friends little brother plays of UF, I'll ask him what he knows about the area.

    Actually helicopter school ,

    Now if they'll just mount Missile pods underneathand a mortar launcher in the nose.. :D
