Application for WoW membership

Hello!

I'm interested in joining the guild. My experience in MMOs isn't terribly long in duration, but I've been a gamer for quite a while. My first MMO was actually an initially interesting but ultimately dull open source game called A Tale In The Desert (ATITD). While it was only fun for a month or two for me, it whetted my appetite for that which it lacked, fantasy context and combat.

Soon thereafter, FFXI was released in the US, and I played that for almost a year to the day. I played most jobs, but in the end I found Bard to most fit my personality and playstyle. But as I got higher in level (I was 65 before the grind really started to get to me) I missed the "fun" part and really wasn't interested in the sheer amount of effort required to do the simplest things in FFXI. I need to be able to do SOMEthing on my own, even if it's less effective.

So here I am on WoW, which enthralled me from day one. It has so much over FFXI in so many ways, but most of all, it's FUN, and not only when you have a group of close friends to play with. I started out on Stormreaver as a Gnome Warlock and I got up to 54 before I grew tired of class problems, and more importantly, server problems from the overpopulation. I played every job to 20-25 except Priest before I found that Warrior is just my style. Now with the latest patch, I'm very excited to level back up and tear up some Horde!
