Here in Ohio, two highschool football "stars" stole a decoy deer, then set it out on a country road. Well, one motorist (a young individual) swerved to miss this "deer" and lost control, flipping the vehicle.

This individual was on life support for awhile. And although he survived, he now has brain damage.

The football "stars" were caught and arrested.

The judge was really hard on them....60 days in Juvy. And just so we know how hard this judge was on them...they don't have to serve this "sentence" until AFTER football season.

Way to teach the children, judge dumbass.

Yes, it makes me sick everytime I hear something in the news about how lenient our government is getting when dealing with criminals. They used to say "Crime doesnt pay", well now its getting to the point that its "Crime doesnt pay as well", pretty soon it will be "Crime pays".

Examples: The judge who gave a convicted child molester house arrest and community service as a sentence instead of jail time because he was 5'2", and the judge thought he was too short for jail and might get hurt. That is BS, does that mean any little person, or midget could do anything short of murder and get away with it, hell no, I consider child molestation just as serious.

Another example hits a little closer to home, I assume most have heard about Mary Winkler, the wife who shot her preacher husband in the back with a shotgun, then watched him die as she escaped to the beach. Well that happened in a little town in Tennessee, well before they moved their, they lived here in Decatur, Alabama. I went to school with Mathew Winkler, he was a few grades ahead of me, so I didnt know him well, I just knew of him. Well she confessed that she shot him when the authorities picked her up in South Alabama. So here we have a confession that she shot her husband to death, and yet they let her out on bond. Why, keep her ass in jail where she belongs IMO. One of the guys I work with has a "friend" who sponsors him to Drag Race a motorcycle in the Pro-Mod series, well this guy doesnt directly involve himself in drugs, but he has set up meetings between people, they caught him along with about 20 others, they charged this guy with "conspiracy" to sell drugs, not even the actual deed. But they wouldnt even let him out on bond, yet they will let a self confessed murdered out. This freind of a friend, he owns a chrome business, so his money is legit and he has a wife and 2 kids, yet with a petty charge as "conspiracy" to sell drugs, hes sitting in jail as we speak, while Mary Winkler is doing whatever she wants.

I guess this also includes all of these serious murder charges, and the fake Temporary insanity pleas you hear about all the time, these people do a little time in an asylum, suddenly get "cured" and are home and living a good life again. Makes me sick.......

    /Rant off

Just seems like every day something else comes along that makes me lose all faith in our government.

Yea, those with drug convictions spend more time in jail than those with murder and/or rape charges.

Apparently actions between two consenting adults (generally speaking on the adults thing) is way more offensive than someone taking anothers life or forcing themself on someone.

Kinda like prostitution.....why is it illegal to sell something that is perfectly legal to give away?? Can anyone explain that concept? There is NOTHING else that is in this situation.

And before those out there say "But some are forced into it"....well, make it legal. That will cut out the black market trade. Worked for alcohol. It would work for drugs also.

Kinda hard to wage a war on drugs when a lot of the "enforcers" are taking cuts and protecting those who are paying them.
I don't see a lot of corn sold on the black market.

Ahh...but then we run into "personal responsibility". That's right...noone is expected to have that anymore....it's always someone else's fault. Silly me.

Who made me think we had personal responsibility???

I'm gonna sue whoever you are.....

Why not make sure those two serve community service in the same hospital their victim is in right now? Make sure they help the nurses taking care of him. Be there when the family surrounds his bed and moans on how things "used to be with daddy/son/brother."

Wow. Try this. Replace the words football and play with fastfood and cook.

A judge decided two high school cooks can complete cooking this fall before they serve 60-day jail sentences for a car crash caused by a decoy deer placed in a country road. Two teens were injured.

Kind of shows how idiotic the ruling is.

So if one of these guys dies from the injuries 5 years from now, these two clowns going to get hard time? Or a 2 game suspension?
