AvengerX's Application

Hello all,

I would like to formally submit my application to join CDL. My name is Jared and I hail from West Virginia where I am a teacher and graduate student in pursuit of my master's degree. I also have an upcoming wedding in March that I am nervous but quite excited for.

I have an extensive gaming history going back to the Tribes games. I was a solo player with the first tribes, but joined Tappa Kegga Brew for Tribes 2. I then followed TKB when we united with other clans to form ATF with Gryphon, Stang, and the others. I was active in the original Planetside for a couple of years but just couldn't get into WoW like the rest of those ATF folks I also have a PS3 in which I generally stick to the Call of Duty games and NCAA Football. I am currently playing the Planetside 2 Beta with a TR character. Highly enjoying the engineer role as well as being a Prowler driver, although the engineers seem to need a little boost.

I would like to be considered because of the camaraderie I have with several folks who have already joined or in the process of joining CDL. These are friendships I enjoy and I know that they wouldn't mislead me in joining CDL if it weren't full of people that I could also get to know as friends. What can I bring? I feel as though I bring stability and maturity. I may not play as often as others, but I always try to maintain an active presence in the community via forums. Being a teacher, I experience enough drama as it is during my work day and I enjoy being able to talk about things I enjoy (like PS2!) in a mature and competent manner.

I appreciate your consideration of my application and I hope to expand my range of friends from just those ATF guys to some new folks.
