Pretty much where you see grass is the property I own around my house. Takes me a couple of hours to mow, but I'm satisfied everytime I do.

im the 2nd house over from vista and northwoodr crossing and you can see my skylights but the 60 ft trees are full of leaves

Micrsoft VE is the choice to use it does better resolution than the other option and different satillites and in the other maps different cars and stuff are around maybe updated different times from them.

I live in a crappy rental by a tow yard surrounded on 2 sides by warehouse type buildings. The trees are what cover the back yard, we have a newer projector that we can watch movies with, it makes a picture about 20 ft across on the wall behind us... the benefit of living in an industrial area!

Nice pic -- that's Chazy Lake, with Lyon Mountain in the background. The lake is largely man-made (you were probably standing on or near the dam when you took the picture). It's a very clean lake -- it's probably safe to drink the water if you wanted to. The mountain was the site of an iron mine until 1967 (the town still spreads tailings from it on the roads in the winter), now it's just a nice scenic mountain.

You should let me know when you're coming through sometime -- I'm only two miles off of 374. :D

    Yea certainly will :D

Yea we were standing on a dam looking thing on the side of the road, noticed the water was very clear could see right to the bottom, wasn't all that cold either

Love driving down 374 on our trips, takes us a little bit longer but worth it especially during the summer. My first time driving up that way though there were snow drifts taller than my car

Try to stay away during the winters :p

  10. not to sound dumb, but where do i put in the cords?

You can't really put in the coordinates. Basically you find out where the person lives and put the city into the search engine. Then it's just a matter of lining up the appropriate numbers. I found if you zoom in a bit the adjustments become finer.

This looks like winter time snap, grass is much greener right now. :) Especially after all the rain we've been getting. Coord put you in our front yard.

  14. Ah, thanks for the info :)

The sat image is at least 4 years old. My house isn't even built yet. In fact most of the houses on my street aren't there. So no, I'm not a hobbit living underground :)
