Best Playoff Game to this date (for this year's playoffs)

    33-27 Green Bay wins in OT on an interception by Al Harris.

    If you love your football, it is your mission in life to visit Lambeau Field at least once in your lifetime.

    Each sport has it's stadiums, but most of the old landmarks are being forgotten to the winds of time.

    For Baseball, it's Tiger Stadium
    Basketball: Boston Garden
    Hockey: The Forum in Montreal

    But one constant shall remain. Lambeau Field. I went for a tour of it this year. Watching that game today, and being able to say I walked on the same field as Favre, Harris, Freeman and Walker sends chills down my spine.

    OMG

    I nearly died so many times during that game. Way too stressful.

    When Longwell missed the FG, I just thought, "Here we go again, so close, but we're gonna get owned in overtime.". Sure enought they got the ball, but amazingly enough they didn't score, then we went three and out, I was pissed.

    It really was a great game, even if you didn't love either team. Some amazing football was played.

    But, I'm really really really really happy the Packers won :)

    Well, since im a minnesotan and we sux (seriously,hit I hit my head on a wall really really hard watching that last game) I gotta say no matter how much it hurts :cry: , **whisperFarve has been kicking ass whisper** aww screw dat :moon:

    That greenbay game was ok, but I personally think the titans game was more interesting(because i am a biased titans fan). The difference was our guy actually made the final kick! hehe

    yeah....tiger stadium isn't used anymore. They didn't tear it down but its not in use anymore.

    I'd like to see the Colts take the Super Bowl this year. (Coach Dungy)

    As someone who lives in Minnesota with half of my family is in Wisconson; I've seen and delt with some very, VERY rude packer fans. Yes, I know that things can get out of hand everywhere, but I have never meet a group of people so outright fanitically rude before. I actually had to present my case at a family reunion. Finally - the hostilities ended. So, I don't have anything against GB, but whever I sojourn into WIS and happen to be wearing Vikes gear - I've become a target by complete strangers.

    I'm cool with most my family cheering for Green Bay. But I don't understand why my brother in-law (who lives in Boston) cheers for Dallas... :rolleyes:

    the only good thing about dallas is roy williams...an ou player...wish he would have stayed with ou last year and finished out his term there instead of going pro...but...its been good for him being at dallas...my two teams that im watching is of course green bay (yes i actually have a cheese head and as soon as i get back to ny..ill be wearing it ;) ) then next comes denver...only...and i say ONLY because of my little man Q....number 22 all the way...i saw his first 100 yard game and was most happy for him...all that aside...

    GO PACKERS!!!

    btw pm...try being a packer fan and living in MN...egads... ;)

    hehe, yeah, the border skirmished between ViQueen...errr...Viking and Packer fan is almost as bad as the Hatfields and McCoys. We have friends who live in Litchfield, MN, about an hour or so west of the Cities. My dad and their father used to call each other during the Packer/Vikings games and cus and swear to each other, but it was in good faith. They had been doing that since Vietnam, where the two met.

    Since my father passed away that 'honor' was passed down to me. Now Larry calls me up every Viking game and we 'discuss' what is happening on the field. Granted, I hardly saw any games this year because I live in New York (yeah, you watch the Giants and Jets.....:vomit:) but the feeling was there that fated Sunday, when the Packers clinched.

    I am passionate about the teams I root for (Packers, Red Wings) and hate it when they lose. But I'm not one of these fans who go into a funk and depressed state. Life has too much to give you, and it's such a short time as well.


    (damnit, we need a cheesehead smiley!)

    I hate reading about the jets and giants in the papers...blech...wasted space if you ask me...one thing i notice about these people here...so dramatic...;)
