Borderlands

    Been looking at this game and thinking about picking it up. I know that they offer a 4 pack and was wondering if anyone else here would be interested in doing something similar to what Hamma had posted about L4D2. I'm not sure if any other CDLers are playing Borderlands. I was thinking of getting together and playing this game co-op like one night a week, and perhaps on the weekends (if my schedule permits it - wife/kid aggro and all that in consideration). If you're interested, then let me know.

    I was thinking about buying this to play around with, just didnt want to pay so much for something id probably not play a whole lot. Anyways, I might be interested. would paypall work ok ? Ive only ever used it once or twice a long time ago, but I assume my account would still work.

    I grabbed it for 360 since there didn't seem to be any PC interest in it. It has some very good aspects. Fun humor. Very solid mindless enjoyment.

    So slammed right now, haven't had time to pick it back up though. Trying to focus on Dragon Age, but Torchlight keeps calling to me also.

    I own this game for the pc, there seem to be a decent amount of people playing. I usually see 10-15 online games running during primetime, me and a buddy have been running through the game co-op style. It's a lot of fun :)

    Steam now has the 4 pack for $100 and the single game for $34. I purchased the single game and am downloading it now.

    Any more interest in this. I have been playing the single player, but after years of only playing multiplayer wether it be a RPG or a FPS, its hard to go back to singleplayer.

    So, lev 11 here, anyone want to start playing together?

    What kind of time frames do you have free? I am pretty much open on the weekends, and during the week anytime Wed-Friday....

    Pretty much open during the weekends and any time during the evenings Mon-Fri. Probably the best time on the weekends would be around 1pm EST. Seems to be the average time both kids are asleep at one time. During the week I'm free after 8:30 - 9:00pm, but usually only for about an hour or so. Ben going to sleep around 10pm.

    Sounds good to me. Was going to see about this past Sunday, but ended up having to make a trip into work. Had an emergency inspection that was coming up on Monday, so had to make sure things were tip top...

    I will pop onto DW TS around that time, and we can chat it up and get things arranged. My Soldier (Cant remember what he is, the guy that uses Shotgun and pops out a sentry is lev 19 now, but if you are still around the lev 11 range, I will roll another one and have him around that level)

    Got my Hunter up to level 22 or 23 now. If you want, I'll stop playing him and roll another character for solo play. Find some missions are really tough soloing Mordecai.

    Bringing threads back from death...that's Sentrosi's way! LOL
    Anyway, just wanted to give those who bought Borderlands, Steam is having the three expansion packs for $11. But the offer is only good til Noon EST (I believe). And I think all four (Borderlands + Xpacks) is $31 for those who want to play.

    If you do play, I was thinking of replaying the campaign through with other CDLers. Could set up a time during the week when we could hop on and play co-op. I've already played the game through solo. Just wondering what the experience is playing Co-op.

    If interested, hit me up via PM or reply here. My availability is pretty open most nights after 8pm. Just don't count on it being every night after 8pm. Gotta maintain wife aggro at sufficient levels.
