bored at work

    so im bored...and about to fall asleep here...someone post something somewhat entertaining...keep in mind im on dial up so don't make it obnoxious for me...yes...i am a bottomless pit of need...

    So the guy goes into the bar and orders some 20 year scotch. The bartender, a rather large and lazy fellow, does NOT want to go all the way to the basement to get the good stuff and selects a fine 5 year scotch for the customer.

    He walks back out and pours the thirsty man a drink. The man throws it back quickly, and just as quickly spits it right back out all over the bar.

    "This is 5 year scotch! I ordered 20 year scotch!!" the half choked man bellows. The surprised bartender hustles to the back of the bar and contemplates the trip to the basement again. Having made his decision he grabs the 15 year scotch and rushes out to fill the shot glass of the grumbling man.

    Same results as the customer angrily spits the scotch out, some getting on the large bartender's shirt, screaming, "This is 15 year scotch!! I DEMAND MY 20 YEAR SCOTCH!"

    The bartender, now scared lifeless by the maniac customer, disregards his comfort and heads to the basement to retrieve the 20 year scotch. Hustling back upstairs he runs to the front, pours the man a shot and cowers at the edge of the bar. The man tentatively sips the scotch, and tasting his pleasure, throws the rest back and smiles broadly. "Now that is my 20 year scotch!!"

    A local, hanging out at the end of the bar who has witnessed the whole scene, wobbles to the customer and slides his shot glass in front of him. "Take a -hic!- swig if this, boyo!" he says with a slight slur.

    The discriminating customer takes the shot and drinks it, immediately gagging and coughing. He looks aghast at the local and sputters, "What the heck?! That was PISS!!!!"

    The local smiles real big and replies, "I know that. But tell me how old I am, dammit!"

    I already told Mani that he would recognize me easier if I was wearing one. I'll also be wearing a Warren Sapp jersey with "blood" down by the spleen. I wonder if people will get the joke and irony.

    it does suck when Websense blocks both CDL and PSU forums though.

    It's the only thing I had to look forward to during the long weekends of working at night (7pm til 8am). Now, Websense has taken that from me and irc.planetside-universe.com is good only when there are ppl in there.
