In short I would call it a 3D Diablo II with more PvP in mind.

I don't know if I am getting it yet, waiting for reviews.

  6. i saw they had pre game orders out at the store last weekend, is it out yet ??? i was thinking of picking it up, but not so sure that i really have the time :) to dedicate to a new game! :) let me know how it is :)and if it is worth it!

I have a friend who plays this game. He loves it because you don't have to spend months building your character. You can if you wish, but you also have the option of playing a pre-built character. Friends don't have to feel left out of the battle, low characters aren't stuck there defending themselves against a mob with a toothpick. This to me speaks volumes about the intelligence of the developers.

...or could I have this confused with another game? I'm pretty sure it's guild wars.

Yes it went live on the 28th (or something like that).

Well that is only sort of true, you have two options when creating your character: start from scratch or create a PvP-only character. The PvP-only character will start out at a high level and given good armor and skills. However this character won't ever be able to go on missions.

What I said is indisputably true. I don't speak in partial truths. It goes against my soul.

The idea is so people who don't want to dedicate their every waking hour to building up a character can enjoy competition with their friends right off the bat.

...and I've been told by reliable, yet somewhat leaky beta testers that the characters you build yourself will be superior because you can customize them to fit your playing style, possibly slightly superior attributes, but the pre-built characters are a darn fine option for those without time to dilly dally and can definitely hold their own in battle.

  12. Hmm.. this might have to be something that i check out in the future then! I am liking the pre built to play toon idea... can you have more than one toon though? say one that is prebuilt and one that is not?

My friend who helped test this game named 4 of his own toons that he played with at the time. Yes no maybe.

As Queen said the limit is 4 characters per account.

I apologies for questioning your incontestable 100% truth ;)

You smushed one of my delicate flower petals. Dont' let it happen again or I'll have to bludgeon you! :p~

  16. *hands Queenie the Bludgeon so it does not get lost!* :)

  17. Yup. Look for Duncan Cover (W/M 11) or Qor Ronin (M/* yet to be built). Played all weekend, had a blast.

A bunch of us that play *gasp* games in RL kicked up a small guild to hang out in.

  19. Be careful m'dear - we all have truths, I know you well enough to say that yours and mine are very similar, however speaking truths is not the same as speaking facts.

(Oh my Gawd...where did *that* come from?! I suddenly feel like a bald headed monk, "When you can snatch the pebble from my hand..." )
    Sheesh.
