CDL Planetside Application

    Hello, my name is LNS0388. I'm fairly well-Known around PSU, and I'm very active with Planetside. I participated in several Dev events and was a Panelist on PSU's community Night. I would love to play with CDL for the added teamwork of specified group roles and a dedicated voice server. I would like to join either the Artillary or Fast Response Unit and would be interested in working up to a command position eventually. I play the most on weekends, and am TR on Emerald, as Zerospace or MAXimillion. Zerospace is a tank/Marauder specialist and MAXimillion is a UniMAX expert.

    Yes one empire


    We have had a couple people already delete their Nc chars and joined us.

    I think black had a Br17 CR3 NC char
    Another applicant Obnoxious Frog just deleted his high char and Pyro Man also

    I don't know if I can delete my NC characters. I don't play them much anymore, but they're the foundation of my reputation on Emerald and I've been working on them since launch. It seems rather extreme to throw them away over an outfit. :(

    Why does it matter that I play two empires as long as I meet at all required sessions for the outfit and play TR equally?

    This matter was brought forth by the War Council to the other ranking officers of this outfit. We all unanimously said that if an applicant seeks to play with us, that they must play TR on Emerald and no other empire. It is written in our code of conduct that one should not "play with another tribe as part of an organized league or tournament when that team is competing against the CDL." This we felt applied to the other two different Empires. At any time during the day a Dragonwolf is on. If you move to your other empire during this, you are effectively fighting against one of your own, which the charter states you should not do.

    I hope you consider joining with us anyway. Good luck with the recruit process.

    I'd consider deleting my NC characters, but not unless I had already been approved for the application process. All I need is to get turned down and then have nothing.

    Can't really approve for the app process unless the characters from the other empire are deleted. You can have one on another server but not Emerald. Sorry but that's part of our SOP around here. No 2nd character of an empire that competes against the Empire we play solely.

    I understand your position, but all I need to to wipe my NC characters, get turned down for CDL and then end up with months of lost work on my account and nothing more.

    Looping back to the issue of division, is artillary open and recruiting? Does it include tanks?

    And LNS u will be 100% accepted if u are good natured,Listen to orders,etc.
    It only takes around 1 month for your promotion.

    there are also a lot more active CDL then before so u wont feel alone ;)

    I'll have to put some thought into it. I'm also looking at an NC Outfit and I'm not prepared to delete my hard work just yet.

    Understandable man.
    Keep us informed of what you wish to do. Should you wish to cancel the app there will not be any hard feelings whatsoever. If you delete the NC characters and proceed with us then great we look forward to playing with you in-game.
