    Went into work today. Told the guy I work with and my boss that I'm a bit tired...only got about three hours sleep. The heat was pretty intense in my upstairs bedroom. I have no air conditioner.

    The dude I work with got with our boss and a lady that work's there and they went to Sam's Club and bought me a window unit air conditioner!

    These are some awesome people! Granted, my family has done GREAT things for me which I will always be indebtited to them and I appreciated beyond words.

    But this was really awesome because, really, they are co-workers. I do consider them friends, but we don't get together outside of work or anything. We have a good time at work, and have fun there, but this was totally unexpected!

    It's great to see such in the workplace. Where I work we've helped co-workers going thru hard times as well.

    It's nice to know that some of the time people do care about each other.
