Previous Planetside Experience: If you played the original Planetside, please answer the following.
1. Did you play the original Planetside?
-Yes, I am a veteran of Planetside.

2. What was your in-game name and what was your faction?
-Tetsuo1333 (I was young, and it was a stupid name!), Terran Republic

3. What Outfits were you in?
-I can't recall, sorry.

4. How long did you play?
-A little less than a year. I had to give it up when going to college. I'm not a full-grown adult with a job, taxes, and everything.

5. Anything else about your Planetside experience you wish to share?
-I was primarily a Reaver and Galaxy pilot. I enjoyed being the air support, especially in coordinated air strikes. I also had experience in covert operations.

Gaming experience:

1. Which games, besides Planetside, have you played extensively?
-That's ... a difficult question. I've been a PC gamer since I was introduced to StarCraft back in '98 when I was nine years old. Since then I now own a PS3, 360, and Wii, as well as a gaming rig. I'll try to keep this short though, and limit my extensive experience to online games. Recently I've been infatuated with DayZ, the zombie survival mod for ArmA2. If you haven't heard of it, check it out! I worked as a specialist (military rank) in a clan called 7th Ops. I have become a reserve in preparation for Planetside 2. Before that I focused on League of Legends. Played in some tournaments, but wasn't going to come close to beating the pros. I played SW:TOR for two months, and was an officer in the Stygian Disciples clan. Also: TF2, Left 4 Dead 1&2, and Super Monday Night Combat. Oh, almost forgot Tribes: Ascend. Those are my recent online domains of gaming.... That wasn't very short, sorry.

2. What is your favorite game?
-Of all time? Definitely Knights of the Old republic, simply because of the story. In terms of online play though (since you're probably interested in that), then the medal has to go to my first love, StarCraft.

General Outfit Questions:
1. What are you looking for in an Outfit? Please be thorough.
-Mature players, who can operate as units, as well as act in good humor. Ideally something like I had in ArmA2, organized teams with a chain of command, but people that could be friends with each other.

3. Have you READ AND UNDERSTOOD our Code of Conduct?
-Hold on... There! Pretty straight forward, especially for recruits: Don't be a jerk. Instead, show respect and commitment.

4. Do you understand that recruits of the CDL will not receive preferential treatment in regards to PlanetSide 2 beta access?
-Do you mean that people in the beta don't get into CDL easier, or that people in the CDL don't get into the beta easier? Either way, I understand.

5. Any additional information you wish to provide us. Personal info, references, etc. ?
-I should still mention that I got into the technical beta this afternoon. I'm easiest to reach at jrpatton@gmail.com. My job involves normal business hours EST, so the negative of that are potential play times. Other than that, I hope this application speaks for itself.

6. Do you play a musical instrument or can you beatbox?
-Yes, but I don't own a steel pan. Consider though that I have techincal and coding skills that may be of better use.
