Back in 2004 when a Great Musician died.

I am always watching for videos that us, the Bathory Horde do, in Honor of this Man. (I don't do any, as I don't know how).

Here is a great one. Has pictures I've never seen. And of course, the song is great, "Blood, Fire, Death" which is about those who have been persecuted for thinking other than the main stream.

    "Blood for all tears shed
    And Fire for hate
    Death for what shall become
    All false ones fate"

    Yea....more greatness

Remember, all vocals are done by Quorthon, and all the music was written by him. And this is just one song.

I will be posting more video's, as the Horde has so much to show!

    Hail Bathory

Bathory took the name from this Countess. She is possibly where Bram Stoker got the idea for Dracula. Not from Vlad, as most think it came from.

Venom has a song about her also.

Though this video is very short, and doesn't really get the story, it is interesting. Mr. McNally, who is in the video, wrote a book about her. I, of course, have one of those books (they are out of print, and hard to find now).

She was a fascinating woman and what she did, with the help of many others, including her husband, Ference Nadasdy (the Black Knight), is rather cruel. But that is what went on back then.

There is more to her story that you wouldn't believe, in cruelty, and in family.

    Very fascinating, she was,

Having the book, I could tell you many things you wouldn't want to hear!! But then tell you things about her that would bore you, as it would be the "normal" things you would expect.

Just a tidbit. She was fluent in many languages, and a very intelligent woman. Yet had nefarious moments with her Aunt.

    Fascinating woman!!!
