Death from a car accident earlier today.

  1. btw, I'm typing this with one hand (sliced hand open with case cutter earlier today at work).

This is a serious thread. If you're going to try to make it into some sort of joke, don't. I don't need it.

A person I know died today. At the hands of a person driving too fast.

    She got t-boned at a 3-way intersection.

Died instantly. Another person I know was in the car, and she's in the hospital.

Just to put things into retrospect for you all.

The ford explorer's wheel, the vehicle that t-boned her car, was found 300 m away.

it was on a side road. the explorer was doin well over the speed limit.

    Anyway

    think about that dragon.

  2. Bad news bud - Sorry to hear that.
There has been a lot of death lately. How we interpret death reflects upon our lives. Believe me. I know...

    Take care....

  3. Asmo...I don't really know what to say to this except to share an experience of mine:

My aunt was pulling out of a parking lot when she got broadsided by a car; she was killed instantly as well. This was about a year or so ago, and since then I have always been cautious on the road. I would hope that at the very least the deaths of both our loved ones would make people obey the laws, which are there for a reason, to prevent these horrendous things from happening.

Was the person driving the Ford Explorer drunk? Did the person in the Explorer get hurt/die?

*Sigh* Things such as this [should] make everyone stop and think for a moment about how small and fragile our lives really are...

  4. Yeah sometimes you get caught up in the excitement till something tragic reminds you of the REAL WORLD.

Sorry to hear that Asmo....yeah Im gonna rethink.

I think you really struck a nerve Dragon.

I guess he wubs you :)

  6. the person driving the ford explorer wasn't drunk...

she was just driving way too fast on a side road.

My father had to extricate the people out of the car (small cavalier), and he wasn't exactly happy with the driver of the ford explorer.

The lady driving the ford explorer had one big accident (just herself) earlier where she was driving alongside a turn with a rail.. the tierod let loose and she flew OVER the rail. Apparently, speed was a factor her as well..

    *shrugs*

Once this guy I knew was riding in a car with his cousin, and his cousin was driving way too fast. They went into a turn on the freeway marked 50MPH at about 70MPH. The guy's cousin lost control of the car and rolled it 2 times.

The guy I know disslocated his sholder, broke his elbow, had part of his ear torn off, had cuts on his forehead and scalp that had to be closed with staples and stiches, and is now scared for life.

All becuase his cousin wouldn't slow down when he told him to. In fact the only reason that person is still alive today is becuase he was wearing a seat belt.

    That person is me.
