    Hello everyone, debic here. I thought I would introduce myself and say hey. I have been on Company of Heroes with Manitou, Tbeast, Asp, Swifty and Hyncharas since mid December. Also, I am currently using my PC's onboard graphic display card and looking to upgrade. I welcome your input and recommendations to assist me in my decision to purchase.

    If you've got a PCI-X mobo you're probably going to be looking at the nVidia 8800GT (Around $250). NVidia is releasing their new 9xxx series video cards in either March or April, but right now the 8800GT gives a performance like no other, especially for the money you're going to invest in it. If I were you though, I'd get the eVGA flavor 8800GT, register for their Step-Up program and within 90 days of your purchase if a newer, shinier video card comes along, you can order the newer eVGA card and all you'd have to do is pay the difference.

    Also something to consider is your power supply. Need to see if it can handle the power needed to drive the 8800GT. Let me know what your system specs are and we can guide you.

    Nice system, though the proc is probably going to be showing its age soon. 4Gb of ram is very nice too.

    Now onto your question; right now is a pretty good time to get a newer video card. nVidia is about to release it's 9000 series cards, which means that the 8800 series cards may be coming down to earth. I'd recommend the eVGA nVidia 8800GT for around $240.
