I am so waiting for this game!

 

OK ARG IS THE MAN!!!! This game looks great, really like the frost sword. Holly Cow did you see how you can feed your pets to make them stronger and grow up, that just seems very very cool to me.

Will Def get this game!

This game is too good. I just watched that video, and I have to say, I am so pumped about this game! I LOVED the original and the expansion, but this is beyond anything I could have hoped for in improvements or as a sequel.

If you have ever enjoyed DS, DS2 will rock your world. If you have never played DS, this is the chance to open your mind to something fantastic!

 

Thing that sucks is apparently the game has been pushed back to February of next year rather than the "Holiday 2004" they were saying a few months ago.

 

Looks sweet. Can't wait.

I never got into DS, I was more of a Diablo II fan instead . But I'll still look into it.

 

Legend, this game is MUCH better than Diablo 2 imo. I really loved Diablo, and this game was like Diablo on steroids.

 

The reason why I didn't get DS was because I thought everyone was going to hack it. Since there was nothing like Closed Bnet I knew everyone would create an offline character, hack the character information, and then load them to the internet (just like what people did in Open Bnet). If you ever went to open Bnet, every character you saw was hacked, everyone was level 99, had impossible stats, and weapons with stats that don't exist in the real game. I feared the same would happen in DS so I never bought it.

 

Hate to tell you Legendary but BNet wasn't immune to the cheaters either.
I can't count how many times I got raped of items my character had because someone had a character that had these ungodly powers and weapons and would own me before I even knew what hit me.

Diablo, Diablo 2 and DS were just as prone for the "trainers" and cheats as any other game.

 

Maybe you were playing on Open Bnet, or you were playing much more recently (compared to about 4 years ago). I never saw a hack on Closed Bnet (where you character information was stored in Bnet) for the entire time I played.
