Empire Earth is win....at least I think.

    I say "I think" because I'm not sure if that is the game I was playing or not at work today. If it was indeed Empire Earth, then that is one bad ass game. I only played for a little while and it seemed a bit different then most FPS games as it is more "realistic" I suppose is the word, but man, it is frickin sweet...

    well lets see...were there different technology stages? or ages I should say, such as prehistoric, stone, copper, bronze, dark, middle, renissance, imperial, industrial, WW1, WW2, modern, digital, and nano ages? (in that order I believe) if so, yes it was empire earth

    Hmm, well lemme throw this out and see if clarifys what it was.

    I played two stages, not necessarily were they in order cause I got up and left for a while and came back and a different stage was up.

    The first one, my guy had a computer controlled partner that followed me around and gave cover fire. We were in a building shooting people and came towards the end me and the computer guy were in a big fire-fight through two windows where a bunch of enemies were bum rushing us from outside.

    The second one, it reminded me of a beaches of Normandy type thing(but it wasn't), me and an entire team of guys were running across a huge field with some stuff to duck behind and whatnot. Then had to blow a hole in a big ass wall/fence/barbed-wire type deal. Apparently at that point some of the team was supposed to branch off and take out this tank but the thing kept blowing us up.

    It was a military type FPS that reminded me cross between like Wolfenstein and any of the Rogue Spear games because at times you could just run and gun and like on that second stage I played there was more strategy involved. The guys all had realistic weapons, i.e. handguns, rifles, sub-machine guns, etc. that although I don't remember the names they looked authentic.

    There, so if that helps any........name that game! (It's turned into a contest now, hehe)

    Edit: It is quite possible that my co-worker is just an idiot and told me the incorrect name, but I have no idea.

    That is definatly MOHAA. You described 2 stages from it.. the one where you follow a guy around is near the beginnng. Did u have to blow up some tanks?

    Hell yeah, that's it! I just remember it was from EA so I went to check on their website and downloaded the demo and sure enough it is Medal of Honor.

    Man that game is bad as fuck, I've gotta get the full version of it.

    See, the more I thought about it the more I figured this guy was just an idiot. Heh.

    Isn't Empire Earth the one that Mani and Asmo and some of the guys have been playing where they have boats and horses and shit like that? Sorta like the Age of Empire games?

    That's the one.

    So far Master, Wasted, Mani, Ap, Swift, Malone, Hamma, Arglaar, Kia, holy, and myself all have EE.

    Full Otto, KO :)(), Arg, and a few others have MoH Multi. I need to go out and get it so i can have it collect dust like the Ghost recon CD they con'ed me into getting.

    The only map I don't like is the one with the Sub, and any map where an Lt won't give me ammo.
