Doesn't look like our Planetside replacement, but from the parts I've read I'm more intrigued by this game than others that have been presented here. Currently accepting Alpha testers by signing up on their forums.

Register and more info on the Alpha testing can be found here.
Information on the game can be found here.

    Rezzing an old Thread.

Anyways, this game is looking good, and the amount of possibilities and the fact they say 95% of end game, good gear will be player crafted is a nice idea.

But since the failure of Fallout 3 (my opinion) and this being a player driven MMO seems like the potential is really great.

I could go on and on and on, but here are some nice trailers from E3, explains a good bit and shows some decent footage.

Well, they have an open event scheduled for a few hours this Saturday to test load.

But I also can say that if I were in the beta (wink) that this is looking highly polished and has HUGE potential. It isnt catered towards the easy give me everything without having to work for it crowd like WoW has been catering to, in this game you actually have to put some time into it and learn all the different nuances, but to me that is the best part. Learning everything for yourself and actually accomplishing things, instead of being given everything.

And for those who cannot spend 5+ hours a day grinding or whatever, like stated earlier 95% of gear is crafted, so you dont have to spend all day grinding mobs to get decent gear. But the character development is also focused on skill so gear wont always win the day either.

Plus the crafting system is pretty neat, takes something like 200+ hours in game to create a vehicle, but the cool part is you can craft while your questing, so you have the craft box minimized on screen and the timer is ticking down, but of course there are ways to lower the crafting time if you so choose.

    Release date September 9, 2009.
Anyways, enough rambling, if anyone has any questions shoot them here, I have been studying everything I can about this game and could probably answer a lot for someone.

Hmmm, maybe no one is really interested. Oh well..

If anyone is interested I have an extra beta key I can give away, I registered with two different email addresses a while back and got into it with one then received another one on the other.

If your system meets specs and your serious about testing it, let me know.
