I need to recover files from a FAT16/32, and I would pref. sending it to a network drive. The drive in question was formatted. No physical problems at all, just "ops". Suggestions?

Have you tried to Unformat it (used to be able to do that)

Norton Disk doctor may do the trick If you wrote anything on it after you formatted it you are pretty much out of luck. If you formatted it with NTFS your pretty much out of luck also I believe

  3. Well

If you really needed bad theres places to send it that ive seen from work. They have recovered info that was written over and everything but as im sure you can guess the price tag is quite hefty.

The software I have shows it can recover it, but it can only recover from NTFS, and they want another $200 from a registered user to upgrade it to suppor all win based file tables. I don't think the person that wants the files recover is willing to pay that much to get me software :p
