Fileplanet: Genesis Rising Multiplayer Beta

I looked this up because I confess I hadn't heard of it before, but Genesis Rising is basically an RTS with similarites to how EVE Online and Starcraft are handled.

Set 3,000 years in our future, the universe has been all but colonised by humanity as the dominant species. This proliferation came about through the creation of "Organids"; a form of genetic engineering that can adapt and overcome any military threat set against it. Mankind in this time is one of war, and we have achived such dominion over the universe throught the art of conquest. There is but one place, however, we have not been able to claim. Known as the Universal Heart, it is a region of space that is rumoured to be protected by an "enigmatic entity" that created all life in existence, though the truth of this might by far from benevolent...

There is a singleplayer campaign and ships can be mutated in real-time to perform more complex abilities. At the moment Fileplanet is conducting a multiplayer beta, though it is unclear whether or not this is MMO-based (given the number of things you can do in the game, such as building fleets and trading).
