  1. Ok. so i was listening to NPR on the way to work today and I heard them promoting and debating a 40 minute film made totally by fans and volunteers of the LORD OF THE RINGS book and movies. These fans have spent 2 years producing this film and are releasing it totally free only on the internet on sunday the 3rd of May. During the NPR program they debated wether or not this group of people might be in violation of copyrights and that there is a possibility that the tolkien family, or perhaps the studio that has the rights to the movies or possibly Peter Jackson would consider this illegal, but so far, nothing has been done to stop the planned release on sunday. NPR has a trailer on their web site. I for one will be watching this 40 minute movie when it comes out this sunday.

    LOTR fans, Enjoy!
