I got 2 of these, they are a pound each. They are called Lane Snappers (No you can't eat them, I mean you can, but not these two) As they will not be found on a plate at Red Lobster you can consider them lucky.

I had a pair of damsels in the tank already. The little damsel fish refused to leave the tank. I still have one damsel left.

OK technically it is 2 half damsels.

  2. ooo.... very very pretty

we just added some rainbow fish to our 55 gal freshwater tank, and all of my guppies died *sad* so i just finally got around to cleaing out the little ten gallon one and restocking it with some sunburst plattys and a few albino coreycats.

we would do a saltwater tank, but you have to baby them soo much, and take such good care of them, they have a very delicate balance, maybe in my old age i will do one :) when i have time to concentrate on that sort of thing

Allow me to make a bold statement.

Saltwater tanks are easier to maintain than freshwater tanks.

I have owned freshwater tanks most of my life. Salt makes them look like a chore.

Marine tanks are more expensive to get into, granted. However with a couple general rules to keep in mind anyone can have one.

Honestly freshwater tanks are easier if you run them like salt tanks.
This is easliy the best book out there. A little dry, but you learn more about why some tanks are jewels and others are junk.

  4. i will have to pass the information along :)

i fear that at the minute we dont have room for another tank, until we get some of the *home improvement* projects finished :) (i really need to start nagging him more i think.. not sure if it would help... but there just seems to be so many things started and NOTHING done)
