freakin router

    I think my router packed it in last night. Works fine, but it can't seem to negotiate a addy from my IP. Buggered. Off to buy another one tonight.

    If it can't negotiate an address then doesn't that mean it's not working fine? LoL

    i think he was probably referring to the switching functionality of the router as opposed to the access point/gateway functionality

    No biggie. Ok, so for the most part my old router is still working. Except for that talkign to the modem thing. You know, the part that is or is not working hehe.
    Anyway, I can still use the wireless portion of this router to connect to my new one for internet access can't I?
    This is called bridging isn't it?
    Turn off the dhcp on the old router and have it given a lan IP from the new router. I can do this can't I?
