    The way i read it, you have to of been registered there for atleast 6 months to. Heh ive read those forums since the earliest days of me playing tribes, but never bothered to register :/

    Yes. They're trying to protect new Tribes fans from the general forums until they grow more accustomed to the community.

    New players get to see the TribesTalk forums.

    Well, if you had an enormous fan site and the opportunity to be involved in the beta of the next release in some way, would you

    a) Begin heavily policing forums which grew that large to begin with due to relative freedom to post whatever they wanted.(alienate most of your current user base)

    b) Leave everything as it is and hope not to many new fans ctrl K in real life after experiencing TW....possibly losing the opportunity to be more involved with the upcoming release.

    c) Create a new forum that emphasizes the game more, and allow veteran members to enjoy themselves on their old forum same as always...with a right of passage for members over 6 months so all the new members have something to yearn for.

    You have to earn a right of passage to the General Forum? Well....like I said, that's one way of looking at it.


    Why didn't they just move the general forum somewhere else not associated with Tribalwar and not link to it from the site if they didn't want it associated with the game?

    Anyway, just tell them to post the photoshop thread somewhere I can read it :)
