    So should i get a GF3 now that they are cheap, and maybe the sound card I have always wanted, or should I skip the sound card and go right for the throat with the GF4?

    I would skip the GF3...I have had nothing but problems with it. Go directly to GF4, do not pass go, spend $400.00 (grin)

    I used to have a cool Matronix that let me hook up 2 monitors to it, but it sucked for gaming. Still though I could work on one monitor, and play Tribes 1 on the other.

    Ahhhhhhhhhh................I miss the by gone days of the dot com boom.

    i have a geforce 2 i play with
    also have a geforce 3 ti 500
    but havent put it in since i re did my comp

    since im building a new comp ill just buy a geforce 4
