Getting a Physical: The Debate

    So, I got a physical today for the first time in a number of years. We found a new doctor near where we live, <b><i>she</i></b> is very nice.

    So considering you got to get a testicular exam (thankfully she informed me that prostate exams (done anally) dont begin until 40) would you rather have a girl doctor making sure everything is ok, or a guy doc? A guy doc did my last physical.....I must say I think I'm more comfortable with a girl doing it, something about a guy touching my nuts just doesn't seem right, even if it is a doctor :D

    queen, that the one where the hook those electrodes up to yer arm and send electrical shocks to it? if so...........i had that done to test for carpal tunnel........it sucks, definately not something i'd want to do everyday

    I had the electrode one first. Then came the one where they stick needles into you and turn on the juice. Then when you cramp up, they say, "relax."

    "Just 10 more and then we can do the other side!"

    They can actually make you bend your arms and stuff with this . Tests the nerve to muscle connection. I can take pain. This was painful. I had cramps and bleeding needle holes when we were done. All the needle holes bruised up after they were finished.

    The cramp in my neck lasted all day. :/


    But the good news is there was no permanent damage...

    I know two people who donated blood and they had internal bleading because they would swirl the needle around while it was in them. they got really pissed off.
