    Hey folks,

    I've been offered the following:

    1 xBox 360 Halo 3 edition (which includes HDMI output, 20 GB hard drive, 1 colored wireless controller, 1 headset)
    8 xBox 360 games, including:
    NCAA Football 08
    The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
    Burnout: Revenge
    Mass Effect
    Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
    Tony Hawk's Project 8
    Marvel Ultimate Alliance
    Assassin's Creed
    (note: no Halo 2 or 3)

    It's two months old, hardly played. He wants $350 for it. I'm thinking that's a STEAL. What do you guys think?

    Looks like a pretty good deal to me, considering how much the console itself alone would be worth.

    If you get it, just make sure to get the receipt from the person who bought it in case something happens to it within the warranty, and you need to return it to Microsoft for repair.

    Ehhh, I mean you can get a PS3 for almost the same amount of money AND have a Blu-Ray player to boot. Games you can rent, so that's negligible in my book.

    They will prob be making a blu-ray player for the XBox soon as they recently discontinued the HD-DVD addon :eek:

    Sounds like a good deal.. too good :p make sure it isn't suffering from the famous "Red Ring of Death"

    I've heard of this red ring thing.. what is it? Does that just mean when you turn it on, that ring around the power button is red?

    I dont have one nor have I seen it but I think that's pretty much all there is to it hehe. Obviously the other side effect is the fact that it becomes a doorstop when it's like that.. :p

    Yeah, i believe the red circle means that it has some kind of hardware failure.

    Even if there is no apparent hardware failure, make sure you get that receipt. No receipt of purchase, no deal.
