Tribes 2 Info:
I normally play as a Capper, Heavy Offense, or Heavy on Flag, but I am currently honing skills to work as a Light Defender/Shriker. I have been playing T2 for about 7 months and have spent a significant amount of time in-game playing on the 'serious' pubs such as 5150 East and Vanguard's HomeLAN. I was oringinally in a small tribe that quickly fell apart due to most of the rest of the team never coming on. Since then I have been a member of Fatal Intent where I functioned for a long period as the primary/lead capper. Fatal Intent made it to Rung 6 on the now defunct UGL 12 man ladder, but had alot of personnel problems shortly thereafter and have since faded to only a shadow of their former selves. The tribe now lacks any direction, so I have begun to look for another tribe in the hopes of finding a more suitable team to play with.

Why I would want to join CDL, and anything else you want to know about me:
As I stated, I am looking for a more directed group of individuals to play with. Pubs, while fun (especially the pubs with really good players on them), arent what I got into T2 for. I'm a former paintball player who loved the team aspect of play. CDL seems to be about having fun, but with a competitive aspect, and that is exactly what I am looking for. I don't play this game to let it stress me out, I play it for fun. But even if it's for fun, you have to play to win (unless playing against your girlfriend/wife...then...well....) I will admit that I have never played with a single individual from your tribe (that I know of). I happened to stumble across your website when I was scanning the TWL rankings, and just the attitude I saw in the news was something refreshing to me. Yeah, we got beat, but we had lots of fun and we'll be back again to challenge the people that beat us. Or, We won, and those were some great games...kudos to the opponent for a well fought series. There are way too many pricks in the T2 world (and in the world in general)....I dont want to play with those people...I want to play with people who can show some class.

That's about it from my end. I am still currently playing with FI, although we are down to about 8 'serious' players, no scrimming, and no competition (pubs only at this point). I am in the central time zone, and am available to play from 8pm central on on Monday - Thursday and then Friday afternoon/night, and anytime Saturday/Sunday. I am not 'elite' and dont have the 'elite' attitude that many T2'ers have, but I am an above average player who can only get better when surrounded by talented individuals. Thanks for reading.

Never saw you in IRC last night, but I am aware that you guys were scrimming on Void, so I'm sure yall were busy. Spent alot of last night playing with CDL people. Hamma on 5150 East (lol....I move off the flag to let him cap the enemy flag and give up my only grab of the entire night...aint it the way). A bunch of yall were on ZULU, but once again I jumped on HoF cause the defence was looking meager (the map was reversion....once again, 0 grabs/caps...VGW!) and yall took off for the scrimm midway through. Didnt get to do alot of interacting, but from what I heard and saw on the command circuit Hamma was quite impressive on the 5150 server. I'll continue to jump on servers and play with you guys any chance I get, and Dane has my ICQ (or he should...I messaged him). See you all in the game. GG's.

Yeah, I went in a hung out for a few, but everyone else was in game, so I went ahead and jumped in a server. By the way, who won the scrimm last night?

 

Nice job then! I love both of those maps. Exposed flags make the game that much more interesting. Void is tough, so it sounds like yall did pretty well.

Hehe....the only reason I was playing HoF instead of capping is because the other team jumped out to an early lead due to no one defending our flag. I find that happens alot on pubs

 

Sorry about nabbing your spot Mars....If I play HoF it's usually because no one else was doing it when I checked, or we are getting our butts toasted due to no flag D. Feel free to grab the spot next time and I'll cap or do some Light D (been practicing those head shots! woot woot!). Rayzer, leave the camelot crack and come to the dark side I was playing camelot on the Galahad server, but T2 lured me back to it's fast paced gaming style (how many of you camelot people ever felt like T2 was moving at fast forward speeds after playing camelot alot?) I'll be around tonight if you want to pub a bit before yalls scrimm. Just look me up!
